I for an I

 

With selfies to preoccupy

and so much else to deify
social media can be a minefield

for the simple, sensitive and kind.

Self-love transcends inherent nobility
endowed by the creator in the human soul

But if everyone were normal
what would abnormality look like?

Singularities, past and future
are so few and so far apart
with oceans of nothingness in-between.

Oh my, oh my, who else to glorify if not I?
